During this time of year, there are a lot of summer festivals, fireworks displays, and obon dances in any place in Japan. Azabu-Juban summer night festival (麻布十番納涼祭り) is one of popular summer festivals in Tokyo with young people. Azabu-Juban is next door to Roppongi (六本木), which is the city that never sleeps, so a lot of young boys and girls hang out until morning around there during the festival.

People enjoyed Bon dances (盆踊り) at Roppongi Hills square. Bon dances were originally a religious ceremony held to send off these spirits, but they have become local festivals for entertainment.

WOW! Huge crowd of people!
There are many outdoor stands at the festival.
“Goldfish Scooping (金魚すくい),” a game in which the aim is to scoop goldfish with a thin paper scoop out of a shallow water tank, is a staple attraction at summer festivals.
